Dumped into QA and need reference Material

Hello Everyone,
I just got dumped into QA from Metrics and need to get up to speed fast. Can any of you recommend books that will help me get a grasp of what I need to know in a hurry? I'd like to be able to study for certification as early as possible as well. I have been in IT for over 20 years.

My suggestion is that you start preparing for CSQA right away , the cbok is good material and you will know what is right way to do things. The problem is there are too many books on this topic, so its really difficult to ready books and apply to job.
However if you dont want to start with CSQA CBok Right away then refer to this link.

See the ones whose titles are most relevant to your job , if the reviews are good, go for it.
Still I would suggest that you start with CBoK, where you need more info, just google or check this site
