Q6 - 4 Defects/FP to 2 Defects/FP
I have not studied the CBOK... but i am taking a logical guess at your Q6 based on my experience...
4 Defects/FP to 2 Defects/FP -> means improving the software quality or reducing the defect density by 50%
More detailed explanation:
A software factory can influence the time spent to implement a function point (productivity), the number of defects per function point (quality), and the accuracy of our estimations.
The defects we find in the product during development, user acceptance test, and production, we can also express that number as a quality metric. Suppose we found 500 bugs during development, 50 during the acceptance test, and 5 after going into production. We could express this calculation as having 1 defect/fp during development, 0.1 defect/fp at acceptance test, and 0.01 defect/fp in production.

Ganesh

Submitted by Shashi on December 3, 2008 - 4:06am.Hi Shashi,
I m not able to get answer for any of ur questions cause i m still finding the questions incomplete...I have given CSQA & CSTE and have never come accross such short questions...
One of the reason i m not able to answer ur questions also may be bcause its almost months that i have not touched CBOK...
I would rather suggest u...That u keep reading CBOK...Even i used to keep referring to old questions during my CSTE preparation...But then i did not find it useful ...as hardly any questions are repeated...
But i would also like to add that after giving both the certifications i have come to one conclusion...That an associate giving CSTE or CSQA certification should be thorough with CBOK...If he is thorough with it he can easily pass the exam...So jst make sure u r thorough with CBOK...
Sorry for the reason that i cud not answer ur question...
Do let me know if u have any other questions...
