What does visibility mean?

Hi ,
The questions is:
Your organization is following CMM processes. How the visibility will improve throughout the organization as processes mature.
Could someone please tell what this VISIBILITY means.. and the answer to this questions.

Visibility means how will it spread to everyone in organization. For Eg: "CEO actions are visible to all", means everyone in organization will know about CEO actions.
In any organization, during the initial phases of CMM implementation, there is a lot of resistence from employees. They are used to doing their day to day work and they dont want additional overheads as they dont see much benifits.
As people start using processes, they suggest process improvements, which is then evaluated, analyzed, piloted and institutionalized across the organization. This is known as process maturity. For eg, the code review checklist is a process. People may suggest more review points , which will be incorporated in next versions.
Process improvements mean that process are being used by teams, and they have better way of doing something. This spreads the Quality culture in organization when employees discuss process amongst themselves.
